Emmaus College is a proudly co-educational K to 12 Catholic college, operating over multiple campuses in Vermont South, Vermont and Burwood. One campus is dedicated to Years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12, another campus is designated to the Year 9 program, Y9@E, and another is a dedicated Junior School K to Year 6. Instrumental Strings Orchestra Program Tutor (Years 7&8 and Years 3&4) The College is seeking applications from skilled, dedicated and passionate instrumental Music Tutors who will provide individual and group tuition for our private string students. This role also involves teaching in the Years 7 and Year 8 and Year 3 and Year 4 orchestra program and leading a string ensemble. The days of work are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The classroom involvement does not require VIT registration, because a VIT registered teacher is responsible for the class. Instrumental Woodwind Orchestra Program Tutor (Years 7&8 and Years 5&6)  Expressions of interest are invited from skilled, dedicated and passionate instrumental Music Tutors who will provide individual and group tuition for our private woodwind students. This role also involves teaching in the Years 7 and Year 8 and Year 5 and Year 6 orchestra programs and leading a jazz ensemble. The days of work are Thursdays and Fridays. The classroom involvement does not require VIT registration because a VIT registered teacher is responsible for the class. Music Tutors are contractors paid at the VMTA rate (pro-rata from classroom/ accompanist work).  The role commences on 28 January 2025. Applications close 9.00am, Tuesday, 3 December 2024.
