Emmaus College is a proudly Catholic co-educational regional College in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne established in 1980. The College operates over two campuses, at Vermont South and Burwood. In 2025, our College will expand to be a K to 12 school, with the addition of our Holy Saviour campus, incorporating Prep to Year 6 classes and a kindergarten.
College Psychologist
Applications are invited from qualified, passionate, dedicated and skilled Psychologists for a full-time ongoing position. Members of the Psychology and Counselling team work on-site at either our Vermont South or Burwood Campuses.
The role will include providing brief interventions and counselling to students using evidence-based conceptual frameworks at an individual and small group level. College Psychologists also undertake psychological assessments of mental health, learning and developmental challenges. Additional aspects of the role are included in the Position Description.
The successful applicant will be working as part of the Psychology and Counselling Service and will need to be skilled in providing support and intervention services to our students. The successful applicant will hold full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA). New graduates are welcome to apply.
The role commences on 28 January 2025 (or by negotiation), working 8.30am- 4.30pm during school terms with paid school holidays.
